Geotextiles are a new type of geosynthetic product, a permeable geosynthetic material made from synthetic fibers by needling or weaving. Geotextiles are available in PP and PET and can be divided into woven and non-woven geotextiles according to their processing. Geotextiles have good isolation, filtration, and water permeability and can be used in many applications.

What are the properties of geotextiles?
1. Geotextiles are permeable because they are made of plastic fibres, the gaps between the fibres allow water to flow and the fibres themselves do not absorb water. It is therefore very permeable and does not absorb water.
2. Geotextiles have good tensile properties and maintain good compressive strength and elongation in both wet and dry conditions.
3. Geotextiles are very light in weight, ranging from 100 to 1000 in weight. It supports customisation and is very easy to install.
4. It has good chemical resistance, i.e. resistance to corrosive chemicals such as acids and alkalis. It maintains good performance and a long service life even in soils and water with different PH values. For environments with different PH values, PP or PET geotextiles should be used depending on the actual application.
5. Geotextiles are resistant to bacteria and organisms. As geotextiles are fibrous products, they cannot be digested by organisms or insects. They are therefore not damaged by micro-organisms and insects and are not easily biodegraded. Geotextile Fabric Production Line
